April 30, 2026 ![Glove Box Australia](https://gloveboxaustralia.com.au/hubfs/Picture10.png) [Glove Box Australia](https://gloveboxaustralia.com.au/blog/author/glove-box-australia-1) At **Glove Box Australia**, our mission has always been clear: to provide the scientific and industrial community with safe, reliable and high‑quality containment solutions tailored to real‑world laboratory and production needs. As part of that commitment, we are proud to represent **Jacomex**, a globally recognised **French manufacturer of glove boxes, isolators and containment solutions**, across **Australia and New Zealand and all other countries in Oceania**.    ### Who Is Jacomex? Founded in France more than **80 years ago**, **Jacomex** is one of the world’s most established and dedicated glove box manufacturers. The company specialises exclusively in the **design and manufacture of glove boxes, isolators, containment enclosures and neutral gas purification units**, all engineered and produced in France.  Jacomex has built its reputation on technical expertise, engineering precision and an unwavering focus on safety. Its containment systems are used across a broad range of sectors, including **research laboratories, pharmaceuticals, nuclear, energy, chemistry, biotechnology and additive manufacturing**.   ### A Heritage of Engineering Excellence What sets Jacomex apart is its **end‑to‑end control of design and manufacturing**. With an in‑house engineering office and production workshop in France, every project — from standard units to highly specialised custom systems — is developed with close attention to performance, safety and compliance.  Over decades, Jacomex has become a leader in both **standardised and custom‑made glove boxes**, offering solutions that can operate under inert gas, filtered air, vacuum, overpressure or underpressure environments, depending on application requirements. This technical flexibility allows Jacomex systems to be tailored to complex and demanding processes while maintaining exceptional levels of containment and reliability.   ### Why Glove Box Australia Chose Jacomex As an Australian, family‑owned business based in Melbourne, **Glove Box Australia** understands the importance of pairing world‑class technology with **local expertise and support**.
