Hight security glove box for nuclear applications
HIGH SECURITY GLOVE BOX
Standard and custom-made glove box workstation for applications requiring enhanced operator protection, in the nuclear sector or any other field of industry and research.
The high-security glove box workstation is generally proposed in a monoblock type design with rounded corners facilitating the clean-ability or decontamination of internal surfaces. Ideally, it is equipped with a Jacomex regulating and safety valve guaranteeing its automatic depression maintenance as well as a safe air speed in case of glove tearing.

REGULATING AND SECURITY VALVES FOR GLOVE BOXES
REGULATING VALVE
USE:
- Glove boxes under vacuum in air
PURPOSE:
- Automatic and continuous regulation of the vacuum inside a containment enclosure
- Automatic compensation of filter clogging
- Indication of the filter clogging level
- Provide a safety flow in case of accidental rupture of sealing
- Alarm triggering or any safe action through dry contacts
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
▼ Diaphragm valve, mechanical system without electrical connection.
▼ Safety in the event of a breach of confinement: maximum automatic opening limiting the risk of back scattering to the operator.
▼ Possibility of alarm in the event of a fault.
▼ With or without flow indicator.
SECURITY VALVE
USE:
- Glove boxes in depression under nitrogen or argon
- Glove boxes in depression under purified controlled atmosphere
- Vacuum insulators under neutral gas
PURPOSE:
- In normal functioning: the tightness of the enclosure and the gas circuit is preserved with a hermetic valve
- In accidental functioning: ensure a safety flow through an opening in case of leakage
- Alarm triggering or any safe action through dry contacts
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
▼ Diaphragm valve, mechanical system without electrical connection.
▼ Valve closed, gastight.
▼ Possibility of alarm in the event of a fault.
